Club Boats and SUPs for Hire

Hayling Ferry Sailing Club has two SL16 catamarans, 2 Dart 16 catamarans and two stand-up paddle-boards (SUPs) for use by members.

Club catamarans

The club catamarans were acquired and carefully prepared for use in 2020 with the dual aims of a) allowing new members to join without first needing a boat, and b) to give all members the chance to try something different or to use as a backup boat if needed.

To use the boats, members must:

  1. Be able to safely sail a catamaran.
  2. Sign-up to the Club Boat Scheme.
  3. Choose to pay either an annual fee for unlimited use or a hire charge for each use.

The annual fee is incredibly good value at just £183. The pay-as-you-go hire charges are from just £10 for a twilight session.

To find out more about the scheme, check out the Frequently Asked Questions or email clubboats@hfsc.org.uk.

Club SUPs

The club has two 10'4" Fanatic stand-up paddle-boards for use by all club members. The boards are designed for all-round use so should be just at home among the breakers on the sand bar as on the calm waters of the Langstone Harbour. Good for windless days, for use by non-sailing family members, or for a quick sunset paddle.
