For one reason or another, I seem to have to repair the bottom of my daggerboards on a regular basis! I've got quite good at doing this now, so I thought I'd put a little user guide on the website so we can all benefit from my repeated experience!

How to repair a Daggerboard (or Rudder).

I'm assuming that you've either ground out the bottom of the daggerboard, or (as happened in this case) someone who will remain nameless, snapped the bottom of one of them while pulling them out of the boat...

The daggerboard on my Hobie have a softish foamy core with a hard glass fibre skin, presumably most other boats have the same structure.
