There has been a great response so far to the inaugural Solent Forts Race on May 13th. Remember that places are limited - and more importantly, if you register before 01st May, you will get a £15 reduction on the entry fee!

Training day follow up

We had a great training session on Sunday which despite a lack of wind turned out to be a useful session around the cans.

Since then I found this really useful guide - it has been written for the Hobie Tiger, but much of what is mentioned will apply to all 3 sail classes.

Hello everyone and welcome to the 2013 sailing season at HFSC.

Lots happening on and off the water, including:

> Clubhouse Frontage Improvements - Sat 6th April 09:00 onwards. We're fitting new windows and bi-fold doors to your clubhouse – trade skills needed!
 
> Work Party - Sun 7th April 10:00–16:00. Please come and help maintain your club! Bring tools for carpentry, painting & gardening etc. Lunch will be provided.

> 3 Forts Race Sun 21st April, 11:00 start.

> The Solent Forts Race has been confirmed for Sunday 9th June, and we are well-on with the organisation for this (which is significant to say the least). We will shortly be contacting those who ticked the ‘I may be available to help with the Solent Forts Race’ box on the membership form.

> Bands on the Beach, Saturday 8th June (to coincide with the Solent Forts Race). Includes food and bar - should be our best gig yet. Put it in your diary - friends and family can come too.

The Events Schedule will be sent out shortly.
