Today, thanks are due to the RNLI for rescuing 2 club members (who wish to remain anonymous). They became separated from their boat following a pitchpole out in the Solent.

The un-named pair became separated from their cat because the wind took it off faster than they were able to swim - a warning for all cat sailors.

The weather is looking poor today, but better tomorrow - see you down the Club tomorrow morning, it would be good to get away at around 11...

I'll be bringing a camera to take on the RIB, so I'll be taking some action shots on the water, so make sure you've got your clean wetsuit on!

There may be a few people braving the weather to camp at the club tonight, but we're going to save the BBQ and events for another (more clement) weekend!
